We offer a wide range of materials that include metals such as brass, aluminum steel and specialty alloys to ceramics, tile, stone, marble, plastics and foam. Aluminum

We can through-cut alumimum into intricate shapes from sheet thicknesses ranging from .040″ to 6″ thick. Multiple alloys are available or we are happy to work with customer supplied material. Cut edges are generally very smooth and we can supply samples to illustrate cut edge finishes.

Brass

We can through-cut brass into intricate shapes from sheet thicknesses ranging from 1/16 ” to 6″ thick. Multiple alloys are available or we are happy to work with customer supplied material. Cut edges are generally very smooth and we can supply samples to illustrate cut edge finishes. Please note: Laminated brass shim stock cannot be cut using a waterjet.

Ceramic

We can cut both ceramic tile, as well as other industrial ceramics such as refractory brick or plate to shape.

Steel and Stainless Steel

All types of steel alloys, including very hard varieties like tool steel and AR500 are easily cut to shape. All stainless alloys as well. Our process imparts no heat or hardened edge to cut parts and thicknesses from .040″ to 4″ can be cut. Maximum plate size is 72″ x 144″. We have extensive experience cutting heavy plate and use a variety of state of the art nesting processes to maximize material yield.

Specialty Alloys

We have considerable experience cutting specialty alloys such as Titanium, Inconel, and many more. Very intricate shapes can be cut without warping, or work hardening edges of cut parts.

Tile, Stone, Marble and More

Almost all types of stone, tile, marble, and other types of flooring can be cut to very intricate shapes.

Industrial Plastics

Industrial plastics, such as UHMW,HDPE, Delrin, Lexan, Nylon, and Polypro and more are a specialty at Cutting Experts. We can waterjet cut many plastics as well as both cut and machine these materials using our 60 x 120 Thermwood production router. Many secondary processes such as welding, 3D machining, and bending are available.

Foam

We have extensive experience cutting and machining many type of foam, including XLPE, closed cell neoprene and EPDM foams, PE foam, and many more. We specialize in foam case inserts of all types. We can create foam inserts for tools and equipment of all types.
